Bus Tour: For groups of 25-40 the admission is $9 per person per day. For groups of 41 or more the admission is $8 per person per day.
Minnesota Quilters' 2008 Annual Show and Conference returns to the Mayo Civic Center in Rochester, Minnesota to celebrate our 30th annual quilt show!
MQ members and non-members may now register for Quilted Jewels, the 2008 MQ annual show and conference here. Multi-Day Admissions - $35.00 for members/$40.00 for non-members. Class Fee Options: $65 full day/$130 two days/$35 half day.
Highlights
- Quilt competition and exhibits: Become a part of the show by entering a quilt in the Judged competition, the Non-Judged exhibit, or the Children's exhibit.
- Special Events: Check out the special events that we have planned for you, including Meet the Teachers, Sneak Preview, “Jewels of Distinction” Fashion Show, Grand Banquet, and a Fat Quarter Stroll.
- Quilter of the Year: We are proud to announce that the 2008 Minnesota Quilter of Year is Darlene Zimmerman.
- Scholarship for Beginning Quilters: A scholarship is available for a beginning quilter who would like to attend the show and receive a free class and hotel accommodations.
- Small Quilt Auction: The Minnesota Quilters' small quilt auction is an annual fund raising event in which quilters donate small quilted items for an auction to be held at the June show.
- Special Exhibits: Your help is needed to make the special exhibits. . . special!
- Volunteer!: Our show's success rests totally on the very capable shoulders of our volunteers. Please consider giving an hour of your time at the show. Volunteers are entered in an exclusive drawing for a new sewing machine, plus other door prizes.
- Raffle Quilt: Take a look at our beautiful raffle quilt and order tickets.
- Raffle tickets for quilt to the right are $1.00 each. Minnesota Quilters, Inc. uses the proceeds from the raffle quilt to support its mission to preserve, educate, and document the art and craft of quilting in Minnesota.

- Registration for MQ members (you must have a current, paid membership as of December 1, 2007) will be accepted January 16 - 31, 2008.
- General registration will be accepted beginning February 1, 2008.
- You may register online until May 31, 2008. After that date you will have to register when you get to the show.
