The center’s new convention venues—including a spacious ballroom and 16 new meeting rooms and suites—have helped attract many new types of meetings, conventions, and consumer shows to the center, and kept existing clients coming back. The major renovation of a pre-existing venue, Presentation Hall, has also helped attract a host of new entertainment events to the center. Photo-Credit2-William-Forsman376x251

Terri Allred, Women and Spirituality Conference Producer: “I shopped all over the Midwest for the perfect venue for The Women and Spirituality Conference. I knew that I needed a very large and affordable venue. Those were my two requirements. I had no idea that I would also be finding such beauty, functionality and a talented staff. Our participants loved the floor to ceiling windows overlooking the river, the outside picnic tables and green space and the lovely rooms. Our presenters, vendors and participants loved the state- of- the- art tech in the conference Women-and-Spirituality-Conferencerooms and exhibit hall. As a conference producer, I was continually amazed at the talented and professional staff who assisted me at every step of the way. I loved working with the Mayo Civic Center and plan to return annually.”
