Covid 19 Information

In response to Governor Tim Walz and the MN Department of Health’s recommendations regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and public gatherings, the Mayo Civic Center is closed until further notice. We may re-open for select events if social distancing can be maintained. Check our event calendar for updates.

The health and safety of our guests and team-members is our top priority. In accordance with the Governor’s recommendations and following the lead of our partners with Olmsted County Public Health, Mayo Clinic, Olmsted Medical Center and the City of Rochester, we will continue to follow this rapidly evolving situation and respond accordingly with great care for our community.
Our team will work diligently to reschedule as many postponed events as possible to a date that is deemed to be safer for the health of our community and all of our guests. While we are closed, we are launching VenueShield, a comprehensive cleaning and safety program. A full re-opening plan is available by request. We are also participating in Rochester Ready, the city-wide safety plan developed by the City of Rochester, Rochester Downtown Alliance, Destination Medical Center, Mayo Clinic, Experience Rochester and Olmsted County.

Safe safe and we will see you soon.
