Mayo Civic Center will be closed on Monday, March 17 for a maintenance project. Mayo Civic Center will reopen on Tuesday, March 18 at 8:00 a.m.

Please note: Orders will be processed and installed in a first come, first-serve basis, or as we determine most convenient. Service will begin on the start date and end after the close of the show unless special arrangements for early or late connection/disconnection have been made. All orders received after the 14-day cutoff date are subject to Day of Event prices. If cancellation occurs after the 14-day deadline, no refund will be given.

PROHIBITED ITEMS:

For the safety of all of our exhibitors and attendees, the following materials, processes, and/or equipment are not allowed:

  • Hazardous materials
    • Refrigerants such as sulfur dioxide and ammonia
    • Flammable cryogenic gases
    • Aerosol cans with flammable propellants
    • Propane over 20-pound containers
    • Fueling of motor vehicles
  • Electrical equipment or installation not conforming to code
    • Open clip sockets
    • Latex or lamp cord wire
    • Unapproved duplex or triplex attachment plugs
  • Fireworks, pyrotechnics, smoke, haze (must have a permit)
  • Blasting Agents/Explosives
    • Class I liquids, including gasoline
    • Gasoline operated cooking equipment
    • Wood matches with all-surface strikes
  • Portable heating equipment
  • Tape, nails or tacks
  • Adhesive-backed decals or sticker
  • Helium balloons
  • Fire/Freestanding candles (candles in votives must be approved by the Fire Marshal)
  • Glitter/Confetti
  • Landscaping materials – Hay, dirt, sand, moss, mulch, etc.

EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES:

Mayo Civic Center cleans and maintains all guest lobbies and rooms. Exhibitors are responsible for cleaning up all event materials and decor. Additional housekeeping costs may be incurred if excessive cleaning is needed. Special arrangements for the disposal of any large trash or recycling needs, handling of specialized waste removal, pallets, shipping crates, large volume of packing materials, etc. should be made in advance. If left on-site a disposal fee for each remaining empty pallet/create will be added to the final invoice.

All equipment, freight, decorations, and miscellaneous items must be removed from the premises at the expiration of the contracted load-out time. Items left behind will be treated as abandoned and disposed of. MCC is not responsible for lost or misplaced freight. The MCC is not responsible for any materials left unattended.
